Cow Brand Syndet Shampoo - vintage blue and white metal box from Japan 1960

Épuisé

Cow Brand Syndet Shampoo, big square metal box from Japan, vintage cosmetic box from the 60's. Kyoshinsha
Oils & Fats Chemical Industry.
Square shape, blue and white striped design on the outside. On the inside of the lid is a picture of a woman washing her hair and Japanese writings promoting the product:  "Milk active shampoo, to wash your hair daily", "Two boxes for 100 JPY" ...

We love this big box for its colours and the old-fashioned design inside. Thanks to its size, it is also very practical to store precious objects!

Elsa found it in Nagoya, at the flea market that took place around the Bansho-ji temple.

Size:
Length: 20 cm / 7.14 inches
Width: 16 cm / 6.5 inches
Height: 8 cm / 3.2 inches

Presents some signs of wear: black stains on the inside and scratches on the lid (see photos above).
